The unit size you need can vary greatly, depending on the size of your furniture or belongings, how high you can stack boxes, and other variables. Please refer to our storage sizing guide, or call us and we will be happy to help you decide what size will work best for you.

Yes, we have large sized units 12’ x 30’ and smaller which will accommodate most cars, boats, trailers, snowmobiles, ATV’s, and some small RVs.

What items are not allowed to be stored?2020-01-04T16:28:16+00:00

Common sense and state law determines what may be stored. You alone control access to your storage space therefore never store firearms, illicit drugs or drug paraphernalia, live animals, perishables, liquids, explosives, flammable liquids and fuels, toxic materials, or other items that need special consideration.

Do I need insurance?2020-01-04T16:28:30+00:00

Insuring your items while they are in storage is highly recommended. Just as your home is susceptible to unforeseen circumstances, so to are your belongings while in storage. Check your homeowners or renters insurance policy to see if your storage possessions are covered.

Is there a long-term lease?2020-01-04T16:28:43+00:00

No, the rental agreement is month-to-month.  Our billing cycle is the 1st of each month.

We prorate rent on the move-in, not the move-out.  Provide notice to vacate 15 days prior to the end of the month to avoid another month’s rent charge. A 15 day notice to vacate will help others who are on our waitlist for units prepare to move in.

Do I need to provide my own Lock?2020-01-04T16:29:05+00:00

You may if you like.  However, right now our special is a free disc lock with two keys upon move-in. This high security lock is yours to keeps and will be in your unit upon completion of renting.

Only one lock is allowed per door latch, and you must keep your unit locked at all times.

How do I make a payment?2020-01-03T19:38:43+00:00

We accept online auto-pay with a credit card or ACH payments through our secure website.

Will I receive a monthly bill?2020-01-03T19:37:50+00:00

No, rent is due on the first of every month.  Auto-pay is a great way to know that the rent is paid on time each month.

 

What happens if I lose the key to my storage unit?2020-01-03T19:31:57+00:00

You hold the only key to your storage unit. However, if you should misplace it, we can safely remove your lock for a $25 fee.  In addition, we have locks for sale onsite so you can replace the lock and have a new set of keys.

Moving out? Here’s what you need to know.2020-01-03T19:33:27+00:00

Simply call, text us at 509-965-4044, or email 88thavenuestorage@gmail.com to provide notice to vacate 15 days prior to the end of the month.  Because our billing cycle is the 1st of each month, we prorate rent on the move-ins, not the move outs, so you may want to plan your move out toward the end of the billing cycle.

We have a waitlist for unit sizes, so providing a 15 day notice to vacate will help others prepare to move in.

Please remove your lock upon move-out, and leave the unit as found. ( Broom clean, and free of trash, debris, grease, oil, paint, tire marks, etc.)
